Life Policy Support

Mortgage Endowment Enquiries
we deal with any concerns you may have about your endowment policy not reaching the amount required to pay off your mortgage.

Group Schemes
we deal with most enquiries on and changes to Group Scheme policies. Your policy is likely to be handled by us if:

  • Your Homeguard policy was issued under a special arrangement with a Building Society or Bank and was assigned to the third party to cover a mortgage amount at outset, or
  • Your Homebuilder or Endowment policy premiums are paid together with your mortgage payments.

we process changes to all individual life policies.

Claims

Group Schemes

We deal with most enquiries on and all changes to your Group Scheme life policy.

Examples of what the Group Schemes Unit deal with are:

  • General queries relating to the policies
  • Change of name, eg marriage, divorce
  • Switch of funds in which your premiums are invested ( if applicable )
  • Change of bank account
  • Copy Certificates
  • Changes to the policy when the mortgage is repaid.

Plan Servicing

Freedom Servicing:  we process changes to your Freedom policy
Life Servicing:  we process changes to all other types of endowment, whole of life and life cover only contracts.

Health Claims:  deal with all claims on Critical Illness, Total and Permanent Disability, Waiver of Premium and Individual Income Protection benefits.
Maturities:  settle payments at the end/ maturity of a policy.
Surrenders:  deal with requests for surrender claim forms on life policies and investment bonds and the subsequent settlement.

Death Claims

We are dedicated to settling your claim under a life protection policy. Once we have received notification of your claim an Administrator will be assigned to your case and will deal with your claim through to settlement.

Health Claims

This team of claim assessors deal with all aspects of Critical Illness, Total and Permanent Disability, Waiver of Premium and individual Income Protection Claims.

We appreciate all health claims are different and require personal attention, and for this reason when you submit your claim you will be assigned a personal claims assessor who will deal with your claim throughout.

Maturities

A team of Administrators dealing with the prompt settlement of policies at the Maturity Date.

If you have a policy that will mature in the near future, then 2 to 4 weeks prior to maturity, an Administrator will write to you to advise you of the estimated maturity value of your policy and any requirements we need to make payment.

To ensure we are able to contact you in time, please notify us of any change in address not previously notified.
