Customer Services

Most of our staff work in customer service teams and have an in depth knowledge of our life and pensions products. They carry out a range of tasks from initial policy processing to arranging for payment of claims. They respond to customer enquiries by telephone, letter or email and use computers to view or alter policy information.


Information Technology (IT)

Staff in our IT teams analyse business needs and develop and test computer applications for our own use. They provide both PC and mainframe based solutions. There are also staff who specialise in electronic commerce developments such as our website.

 

Finance

Our actuarial department carries out a wide range of financial and statistical analysis. This is a specialist area where activities include setting premium rates and valuing the company's liabilities. A qualified Actuary has completed many years of training and examinations.

Our accounts teams cover management accounting requirements as well as collecting premiums, making claim payments and handling our banking needs.


Support Services

These include personnel, training, health and safety and general office and premises administration.
